We are sad to announce that on November 20, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Edgar Floyd Shinpaugh Jr. of Bonham, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Floyd Shinpaugh Sr. and Julia Bonita Shinpaugh (Dockery); and his brother Charles Ray Shinpaugh (June Shinpaugh). He is survived by: his wife Peggy June Campbell; his children, John Ed (Rhonda Shinpaugh) and Sally (Ron Fife); his grandchildren, Lindsey, Cody Cameron, Landon Shinpaugh, Matt, Krystle Cunningham, Josh, Tessie Cunningham, Logan and Robert Houser; his great grandchildren, Chloe, Juan Garcia, Barrett, Emmy Cameron, Gus, Sam Shinpaugh, Kennedy, Caroline Cunningham, Lyla, Lucy Cunningham, Henley and Harrison Houser; and his sisters, Mary Beavers and Nancy Bellows. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home (2022 N Center St, Bonham, TX 75418). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
