She was predeceased by : her parents, Cordie "C. D." Lewis and Ruby Lewis (Verne A. Lawson Jr.); her son Phillip Len Lawson; her sisters, Bonnie Jackson and Jeannie Yowell; and her grandson John Arthur Lawson.

She is survived by : her sisters, Clea Buechler of Bowie and Cordieann Bright (Charley) of Haughton, LA; her daughter-in-law Lisa Lawson of Vashti; her children, Charles "C. D." Lawson (Kathy) of Vashti and Sue Phillips (Tony) of Vashti; and her grandchildren, Cody Lawson (Shonda) of Bowie, Heather Lawson of Watauga, Bryson Lawson (Taylor) of Montague, C. W, Cordell Lawson (Alyssa) of Wynnewood, OK and Mikaela Phillips of Texarkana. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
