It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnnie Lowell Chappell of Bowie, Texas, born in Henrietta, Texas, who passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Lee Olan and Mary Cleo Chappell (Hays); his daughters, Darla DeAnn Chappell, Toni Carol and Lisa Marie; his great grandchild Sydney Erin Chappell; his daughter-in-law Vickie Sue Chappell; and his sister Deleen Ruebush.

He is survived by : his wife Frances Chappell; his children, Lowell Chappell of Bowie, Adam Chappell (Brittany) of Springtown and Sheila Duggan (Jim) of Fort Worth; his grandchildren, Sarah Chappell (Mike Towery), Justin Chappell, Kimberly Cox (Michael), Cole Alan Walker and Randi Kaye Brewer (Evan); his great grandchildren, Lauren Baumeister, Harrison Chappell, Hinson Chappell, Carson Cox, Hayden Cox, Weston Walker, Brynlee Walker, Wyatt Walker of Lileigh Brewer, G. W, Kendal Chappell, Truxton Chappell and Rhett Chappell; and his sisters, Linda Shiflet (Ralph) of Argyle and Glenda Buck (Don) of Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Bowie Senior Citizens Project at 501 Pelham St. Bowie, TX 76230, will be appreciated.
