She was predeceased by : her parents, Benjamin Reid and Fannie Reid; her husband Aubrey Thomas; her daughter Vicky Darlene Hayes; and her siblings, Lois Katherine Clampitt and Bud Reid.

She is survived by : her son Donny Thomas; and her grandchildren, Brandy Burrow and Bradley Hayes. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
