He was predeceased by : his parents, Clint Knight and Audrey Knight (Martin); his sister Betty Rhodes (Reagan); his nephew Kelly Rhodes; and his great grandchild Karson Dell.

He is survived by : his brother Charles Knight (Barbara) of Bowie; his nieces and nephews, Reagan "Bud" Rhodes, Jeff Knight, Charla Ikner and Rebecca Knight; his children, Jason, Joshua Herron, Jennifer Stark, Stephanie Self and Brittanie Herron; and his friends, Paul and Marilyn Morris. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
