He was predeceased by : his parents, Dr. Anita Torres Smith and Louis Castro, Jr.; and his nephew Adam Cruz. He is survived by : his wife Jana Diane Castro of Brackettville; his daughter Jennifer Rose Castro; his grandson Joshua Charles Dunn of Houston; his siblings, Fatima Cruz (Joe) of Batesville and Celso Alejandro Castro of Waco; his stepdaughter Amanda Laurice Lara; and his stepgrandson Jack Joseph Thibodeaux of Houston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
