He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton George and Neva Maurea Machen (Porter); his sister Avilla Corbin; and his son-in-law Lee Coffman. He is survived by: his wife Bobbye Forehand of Brady; his children, Rick Machen (Debra) of Kingsville, Texas and Suzanne Coffman of Brady; his siblings, Clifford Machen (Darlene Ward) and Sharon Moore (Buddy) of Lampasas; his grandchildren, Mallory Dougherty (Sean), Kyle Machen, Bradley Coffman and Ryan Coffman; and his great grandchildren, Evelyn Dougherty and Corrie Dougherty.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heart of Texas Bible Camp, c/o Sunset Ridge Church of Christ.
