He is survived by: his wife Katherine Martinez; his daughters, Mariah Joe Martinez of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and MaKaLam Joe Martinez of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; his stepchildren, Teresa Contreras of Lubbock, Melinda A. Hatfield of Abilene and Gabino Martinez of Abilene; and his sisters, Mary Cedillo, Hope Goraham, Lala Foster of Fort Worth and Janie Walton of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Morehart Mortuary - Breckenridge (1101 W Walker St, Breckenridge, TX 76424). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (208 S Miller St, Breckenridge, TX 76424). A burial was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rule Cemetery.
