Leo J. Brooks Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2021, at the age of 91, Leo J. Brooks in Breckenridge, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Brooks; his son Dale Brooks; his son-in-law Robert McCann; and his grandson Cody Hillock. He is survived by: his children, Wade Brooks (Robyn) of Breckenridge, Rexie McCann of Tuscola and Shane Brooks (Missy) of Granbury; and his grandchildren, Jessica McGhee, Dustin Brooks, April Whitaker, Brianna McCann, Cody Bailey, Johnny Woodall, Blake Coburn, Braden Brooks, Cassey Mitchell, Aaron Brooks and Amanda Brooks. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
After losing Leo to COVID-19, the family has decided to protect the community he loved by limiting the service attendance to immediate family only.
The family requests that memorials be made to The Ridge Cowboy Church in Breckenridge or Meals on Wheels in Breckenridge.
