It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorine Minnie (Richter) Hold (Brenham, Texas), who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Elo Richter and Louise Richter (Meyer); her husband Louis Hold, Jr.; her children, Audrey Faye and Jerry; and her sisters, Hattie Finke, Clara Roesler and Lucille Bohne.

She is survived by : her children, Amanda Kaye (Katie) and John Paul (Sharon); her children-in-law, Joe Wilson of Winfield, Kansas and Sharon Machac Hold of Brenham; her grandchildren, Kristy, Loren Brownell of Sebeka, Minnesota, Scott, Sonya Mueller of Westminister, Colorado, Mandy McMeans of Brenham and Cole McMeans of Brenham; her great grandchildren, Lyle, Lucas and Audrey Brownell of Sebeka, Minnesota.; her sister Amanda Hafer of Brenham; and her half-brother Elo Richter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brenham Memorial Chapel (2300 Stringer St, Brenham, TX 77833). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (1212 W Jefferson St, Brenham, TX 77833).
