She was predeceased by : her parents, William Clayton Roy and Althie Ostelle Rose Roy; her husband Michael Lingo; her daughter Gay Dale Ferguson; and her siblings, William Roy, Marvin Roy, James Earl Roy and Rose Lanelle Hollingsworth.

She is survived by : her son Wesley Clayton Lingo (Janet) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; her son-in-law Scott Ferguson of Nederland; her grandchildren, Cristen Ardabili (Shawn), Catelyn Myers and Joshua Ferguson; and her great grandchildren, Cyrus and Caspian Ardabili. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Claybar Funeral Home - Bridge City (800 Highland Dr, Bridge City, TX 77611). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens (4560 TX-87, Orange, TX 77630).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Sunny Glen Children's Home in San Benito, Texas or to The Southeast Texas Food Bank.
