She was predeceased by : her parents, Myra Perea and Jessie Perea; her son Mark Barnes; and her brothers, Mike and Ronnie Perea.

She is survived by : her husband Gene Barnes; her brothers, Pete Perea (Evelyn) of Kansas, Brue Perea (Janice) of Livingston and Darrell Perea (Linda) of Groves; her children, David Barnes (Rhonda), Debbie Longmire (Doug) and Jason Barnes; her grandchild Chris Barnes (Brittnee); her great grandchildren, Liam and Charlotte; her grandson Andrew Barnes (Haley); her great grandchildren, Evelyn and Annie; her grandchildren, Aaron Barnes and Amanda Cook (Cameron); her great grandchildren, Leanna and Cynthia; her granddaughter Jennifer Macha (Jeremy); her great grandchildren, Abigail and Madilynn; her grandson Brandon Longmire (Alyssa); her great grandchildren, Sophia and Jase; her grandchildren, Sean Longmire (Ciara) and Sheera Barns; her great grandchild Teagan; her grandson Josh Barnes; her great grandchild Leonardo; her grandchild Joey Barnes; and her son Jayson.
