We are sad to announce that on November 13, 2025, at the age of 79, Larry Austin Fitts of Bridge City, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Larry may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Major Austin Fitts and Eunice Lee Curtis Fitts; and his wife Charlotte Jean Fitts. He is survived by: his sons, Brian Austin Fitts (Karitta) and Larry Alan Fitts; his grandchildren, Danielle Trahan (Byron) and Austin Fitts; his great grandchildren, Hardin Trahan and Annistyn Trahan; and his brother Gary Lynn Fitts. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Claybar Funeral Home - Bridge City (800 Highland Dr, Bridge City, TX 77611).
