We are sad to announce that on February 1, 2024, at the age of 86, Maxie Harold Neely Sr. of Bridge City, Texas, born in Merryville, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ima Mae Neely (Cochran) and Jake Neely; his son Max Neely, Jr.; and his sister Regina Barron. He is survived by: his wife Betty Carl Neely; his children, Kelly Neely (Dana), Dana Hickman (Randy), Rachel Bland (Terry), Kandi Venza (Ronnie) and Randi Frazee (Matt); and his brothers, Mance Neely, James Neely and Gerald Neely. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; one great grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church of Bridge City at 200 W Round Bunch Rd, Bridge City, TX 77611.
