He was predeceased by : his parents, Ravain Simoneaux and Cecile Simoneaux; his son Michael; and his siblings, Marcella Simoneaux Askew, Jeanette Simoneaux Tamplin, Charles Simoneaux and Richard Simoneaux.

He is survived by : his wife Hazel Smith Simoneaux; and his children, Sharon Myers (Byron) of Orange, Denise Sams (Chester) of Hemphill, Texas and Sterling M Simoneaux (Andrea) of Bridge City, Texas. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren; and his 8 great-grandchildren.
