She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Birch and Clara Clay; and her brothers, Jack, Melvin, Joe Frank, Bill, Henry and Charlie.
She is survived by: her sisters, Jewell Barker, Fannie Mae Hughes and Ida Looney; her husband T. J. Spencer; her children, Nelda Jerene Cox, Tom Spencer of Vernon and Andy Spencer of Hillsboro; and her sister Marie Matlock of Jacksboro. She is also survived by six grandchildren, two-step grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; and other relatives and a host of friends.
