It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Horne of Brookeland, Texas, born in Huntsville, Texas, who passed away on July 31, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his wife Betty Horne of Brookeland; his children, Curtis R. Horne of Brookeland, James Allen Smith of Brookeland and Rebecca Cunningham of Kountze; and his grandchildren, Amanda, Tisha, Ashlyn, Chris, Alan, Derek, April, Josh and Brittany. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren.
