She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Butcher and Elizabeth Butcher; and her daughter Leta Hook. She is survived by: her spouses, Clayton Elvis Hook and C. E. Hook of Brownfield; her children, Bobby Hook (Deborah) of Brownfield, Joey Hook (Dayna Clift) of Brownfield and Rita Walser (Byron) of Brownfield; and her sisters, Fay Howell and Betty Jeter. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
