With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cecilia Contreras of Brownfield, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 20, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Josie Villanueva (Dominguez) and Felix Villanueva. She is survived by: her children, Emil Martin "Conejo" Duran of Seminole, Cathy Trevino (Torrence Gilmore) of El Campo, Monica Duran of Jacksonville and Vicki Jo Penner (Michael) of Monument; her stepchildren, Joe Joe Contreras (Charlene) of El Campo, Texas, Michael Contreras (Cynthia) of El Campo, Texas, Daniel Contreras of El Campo, Texas and Lisa Contreras of Lovington; and her siblings, Fidel Villanueva (Mary) of Seminole, Butch Villanueva (Maria) of Seminole, Jimmy Villanueva (Michelle) of Seminole, Joe Villanueva (Crissy) of Lubbock, Texas, Sally Munguia of Harlingen, Debbie Regalado of Seminole and Rosa Norris (Adam) of Commerce, Texas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, fifteen step-grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.
