She was predeceased by: her parents, Matas Coursey and Ruby Coursey; her husband Marvin Louis James; her daughter Pamela Ruth James; her granddaughter Alexandria Brown; her great grandchild Brennan Perryman; and her brother Gerald Coursey.
She is survived by: her children, Cyndi James of Truth, Vicki Ashbrook (Charles) of Tahoka, Gary James (Debra) of Eunice, NM, Ron James (Jane) of Levelland, Nancy Burris (Terry) of Wellman and Jeanne Brown (Johnny Mac) of Wellman; her siblings, Hartman Coursey of Lubbock, Jackie Thompson of Lubbock and Claylan Coursey (Patricia) of Lubbock; and her grandsons, Brad Ashbrook, Chris Ashbrook, Lance James, Jason James, Frank James and Dustin Burris. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
