She was predeceased by : her parents, Pedro Morales and Guadalupe Cuellar Morales; her sister Micaela Morales Baker; and her grandson Devon Joseph Guilbeau. She is survived by : her husband Juan Jose Maza; her children, John Joe Maza, Yvonne Fasci (Mario) and Mike Maza (Monica); her grandchildren, John David Maza, Preston Anthony Guilbeau, Miguel Eduardo Maza, Liliana Maza of Marcelo Maza, J. J, Joanna Maza, Kathy Maza, Ilan Maza and Zaila Maza; her great grandchildren, Sofie of Colorado and Noah Maza; and her sisters, Alicia Guerrero, Oralia Yzaguirre and Mary Lou Vasquez. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (1200 Lincoln St, Brownsville, TX 78521). A burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Buena Vista Burial Park (5 Mc Davitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521). Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (1200 Lincoln St, Brownsville, TX 78521). A rosary was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home (657 Springmart Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78526).
