He was predeceased by: his wife Yolanda Castellanos; his daughter Maria Magdalena Castellanos; and his parents, Alfonso Castellanos Cardenas and Ana Maria Castellanos Osorio. He is survived by: his sons, Ricardo Castellanos and Efrain Castellanos Jr.; his siblings, Ernesto Castellanos, Elsa Lee, Ana Maria Martinez, Estela Gonzalez, Elena Cantu and Esperanza Garcia; and his grandchildren, Alejandra Capistran, Brianna Castellanos, Penelope Castellanos, Catalina Rose Castellanos, Jacob Rishon Castellanos and Ricardo Isaac Castellanos. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
