It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Enrique Rios Buitureira of Brownsville, Texas, who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luisa Buitureira and Arturo Buitureira. He is survived by: his sons, Henry Buitureira, Ramon Buitureira (Elisa), Roberto Buitureira (Irene), Guadalupe Buitureira (Irene) and Gilberto Vasquez (Perla); and his siblings, Guadalupe B. Tijerina and Alfredo Buitureira (Consuelo). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and other cherished family members.
