She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose G Benavides and Ventura T Benavides; and her brothers, George Torres (Rebecca Torres) and Robert Benavides (Cynthia Benavides). She is survived by: her husband Francisco Javier Rojas; her daughter Vianney Jocil Rojas; and her sisters, Olga T Arteaga (Alfredo Arteaga), Sylvia Herrera (Pablo Herrera) and Hidalia Benavides-Gonzales. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home (657 Springmart Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78526).
