He was predeceased by : his wife Irene Ahumada De Flores; his parents, Leoncio Flores Sr. and Aurora Cepeda De Flores; and his siblings, Leoncio Flores Jr. and Minerva Flores.

He is survived by : his children, Aurora Martinez (Gilbert), Alicia Flores, Aida Cano (Juan), Herman Flores Jr. (Donna) and David Flores (Hilda); and his siblings, Herminia Flores, Jose Mario Flores, Arnulfo Flores, Armando Flores and Jesus Flores. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
