He was predeceased by: his father Eduardo; his grandson Baby Jesse; and his brother Joe. He is survived by: his wife Ada Ramirez; his children, Jessica Lucio Marren, Jaqueline Lucio Stromquist, Anthony Lucio and Julie Lucio; and his siblings, Eddie, David, Bobby, Ricky, Bea, Bertha, Helen and Maggie.

In Lieu of flowers the family respectfully asks that you contribute to the Immaculate Conception Cathedral for up-keeping of the historical church.

“Jesse was a great friend since Jr High. Had several classes with him. In biology class I sat with Jesse, Fernando Almaraz and Roque Hernandez. We would study together and always passed. (No we didn't copy). Can't say we ever fought or argued. He was very quiet and respectful. He earned his wings before he departed. Heaven was missing an Angel n now he's a Guardian Angel. My condolences to all his family. May the Lord grant them peace, strength and comfort on their loss. Jesse go rest. 🕊️”
