He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Hernandez and Estafana Hernandez; and his brother Carlos Hernandez. He is survived by: his son Juan Jose Hernandez; and his siblings, Francisco Hernandez, Celia Cruz, Teresa Hernandez and Antonia Hernandez.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home (657 Springmart Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78526). A rosary was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
