It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lazaro Trujillo of Brownsville, Texas, who passed away on January 21, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Socorro E. Trujillo; his sons, Jose Luis Trujillo and Rafael Trujillo; and his parents, Manuel Trujillo and Josefina Trujillo.

He is survived by: his daughter Jacqueline Garza (Mario A. Garza); his siblings, José Trujillo, Hermina Reyna (Juan Reyna) and Gloria Trujillo; and his grandsons, Cornelio Andres Renteria, Anthony L. Trujillo and Ricardo Adan Trujillo.
