He is survived by: his wife Maria Paula Gomez; his children, Sylvia Crain (Grayson), Luis Gomez Jr. (Norma) and Juan Pablo Gomez (Lupita); his grandchildren, Mario L. Gomez, Brianna Lede (Eric), Sarah Gomez, Alyssa Crain, Juan Zapata and Aileen Zapata; and his great grandchildren, Alayah Renee Ledé and Autumn Rose Ledé.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Chapel of Peace. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista (125 Mc Davitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral (1218 E Jefferson St, Brownsville, TX 78520). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at the Buena Vista Burial Park (125 Mc Davitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521).
