She was predeceased by : her parents, Rafael L. Castro and Maria Guadalupe Gonzalez; her siblings, Domingo Rosas, Carolina Rios, Rafael Castro Jr. and Olivia Ramirez; and her granddaughter Luna Rose Garza.

She is survived by : her grandson-in-law Juan J. Garza; her great grandchildren, Antonio Garza (Mallory), Juan J. Garza Jr. (Nancy) and Christina Garza (Ricardo); and her grandchildren, Joseph, Anthony, Alyssa, Nova, Bryanna and Juan Jose Garza III. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of friends.
