With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ann Hayes of Brownsville, Texas, born in Washington, Virginia, who passed away on February 28, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including : her sons, Tom of Tazewell, VA and Tim Hayes of Tazewell, VA; her grandchildren, Erica Aiken, Lauren Meade, Shawn Meade, Zoe Shappell, George Shappell, Phoebe Shappell, Sophie Shappell, Trey and Peyton Hayes; and her great grandchildren, Winter, Stella Aiken, Jolene Price, Luna, Sonny Meade and Mary. She was also cherished by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Mrs. Hayes' name to a scholarship fund for students at Tazewell High School who wish to attend Bluefield State University. These memorial contributions may be made at https://bluefieldstate.edu .
