She is survived by: her children, Eduardo Torres (Rosa Maria), Valentin Torres (Carmen), Pedro Torres (Maria), Abel Torres (Maria), Alberto, Aroldo Torres (Margarita) of Brownsville, Antonio Torres of South Bend, Indiana, Esmeralda Torres, Francisca Torres, Maria Elena Torres (Olga), Gloria Sylvia Garza (Leonel) and Rosalinda Olivas (Armando) of Brownsville, Texas; and her siblings, Jose De Leon, Javier De Leon, Oscar De Leon, Felipa Ruiz and Maria Hernandez. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
