She was predeceased by: her parent Alvy Elizabeth Franz Hutson; her husband James Ferguson Rushing; her father Sanford Hutson; and her siblings, Alfred Hutson, Sanford Hutson Jr., Helen Kimbrough, Norma Koehlar and Melba Hollinger.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Rushing of Beaumont, Denise (Marlin Goen) of Naples, Nancy (Ken Colegrove) of Brownwood and Tammy (Wendell Yellott) of Beaumont, Texas; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Murphree, Jimmy Wise, Nancy and Rell Biddle. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
