She is survived by : her husband Rafe Smith; her children, Aaron Smith and Rachel Smith; her mother Lottie McCombs; her mother-in-law Kathy Smith; her sisters, Tammie Todd, Theresa Strom, Rena Craft (Anthony) and Michelle Dickey; and her brothers-in-law, Stacy Smith (Deneice) and Brad Waugh (Patty).

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Austin Avenue Church of Christ (1020 Austin Ave, Brownwood, TX 76801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
