He is survived by: his wife Patricia Shaw McMillan of Brownwood; his siblings, Ron McMillan (Sally) of Houston, Mike McMillan (Joanna) of Franklin Tennessee and Marsha McMillan Crook (Gary Crook) of Midland, Texas.; his children, Buffy Rigney (Darren) of Dripping Springs, Judson McMillan of Brownwood, Neil McMillan of Newark and Marsha Finlayson of Early, Texas.; his grandchildren, Kent Simpson, Craig Simpson, Kitty Simpson Morrison, Leo, Abbye McMillan, Gavin and Emerson Finlayson; his siblings' children, Christina McMillan of Ft. Worth, Kate Irons Dorff of Dallas, Brandt McMillan of Brentwood, Ashley McMillan Kerr of Franklin Tennessee, John McMillan of Ft. Worth and Jesse McMillan of Costa Mesa, California.; his stepdaughter Stefanie Gentry (Wes Gentry); his stepgrandchildren, Dalton, Cadence, Ryland, Cody Smith (Ambrosia) and Austin Smith; Trayn, Dylan of Pearland, Brennan and Sebastian of Brownwood. He is also survived by children, grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heartland Funeral Home (303 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
