She was predeceased by : her parents, Jessie Valadez and Loeta "Lola" Torrez; her brother Thomas "Charlie" Valadez; her stepbrother Arthur "Boy" Torrez; and her in-laws, Gonzalo and Maria "Mary" Villalpando.

She is survived by : her caregiver Rojelio Villalpando Sr.; her children, Rojelio Villalpando Jr. (Larissa) and Carlina Villalpando Daugherty (Stephen); her grandchildren, Jenica and Jameson Villalpando; her sister Marlyn Salazar (Cecil); her stepfather Jessie Torrez; her stepsisters, Dorothy Torrez and Sandy Cardenas; her brothers, Gonzalo Jr., Ricky, Bobby and Gary Villalpando; and her sisters-in-law, Lupy Johnson, Margaret Cook and Debbie Dahnke. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
