He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold M. Burleson and Nettie C. Burleson; his brother Billy Roy; his former spouses, Parka Willis and Kathleen Clark; and his stepdaughter Rochelle Burleson.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Burleson; his children, Betty Bishop (Steven), Carol Bryant (Bill) and Joseph Glenn Burleson (Cara); his stepchildren, Steve Sosner (April), Pearl Taylor, Nellie Cramer and Tommy Cramer; and his brothers, H. M. Burleson (Ashley) and Robert Burleson. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Blaylock Funeral Home (1914 Indian Creek Rd, Brownwood, TX 76801). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Richland Springs Cemetery (300 Brown St, Richland Springs, TX 76871).
