We bid farewell to Irene G. Flores of Brownwood, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 5, 2025 at the age of 69. Irene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to Irene's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Irene has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her son Raymond DeLaCerda; and her brothers, Elmo Gonzales and Armando Gonzales. She is survived by: her husband Joe Flores; her children, Valerie DeLaCerda, David DeLaCerda and Miguel DeLaCerda (Diana); her stepchildren, Joe Flores (Jenny) and Michelle Gonzales (Tony); and her siblings, Grace Padilla, Hope Gonzales, Jose "Jody" Gonzales and Liz Vasquez. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Heartland Funeral Home (303 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802).
