He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Horrell and Helen Lavern Horrell; his wife Gladys Horrell; his daughter Tonya Wade; his brothers, Tom David Horrell, Donnie Horrell and Harold Wilson; his sisters-in-law, Gloria Horrell and Betty Horrell; and his grandfather James Seals.
He is survived by: his brothers, Terry Horrell and Ben Horrell; his friend H. B. Smith (Lefty); and his children, Sheryl Kinney (Milton Kinney), Twila King (William King), Cindy King (Jeff King), Sandra Webb (Robert Webb) and John Horrell III (Greg Holder).
