She was predeceased by: her parents, Briscoe Nixon and Lucile Nixon (Varnell); her husband Cecil W. "Pete" Blaylock; her brothers, Joseph Harold Nixon and James Maurice "Jimmy" Nixon; and her great grandchild Lauren Trahan.
She is survived by: her sons, James Carlton Blaylock (Ailene) of Conroe and Joseph Wayne Blaylock (Mabel Anne) of San Saba; and her grandchildren, Leah Trahan of The Woodlands, Jamie Leigh Hill (Ron) of The Woodlands, Brian Blaylock of Georgetown, Britt Blaylock (Shelle) of Waxahachie and Brandon Blaylock of Brownwood. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren.
