With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Michael Wayne Goodgion of Brownwood, Texas, born in Brady, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Wayne Goodgion and Audrey Lavonne Peterson Goodgion; his stepmother Mary Goodgion; and his sister Peggy Wright. He is survived by: his wife Diane Ply Goodgion; his children, Curtis Goodgion (Heather), Tyler Goodgion of Norfolk, Virginia, Christy Ellis (John), Jeffrey Smith (Tiffany) and Heather Smith of San Angelo, Texas.; his brother Gary Goodgion (Sharla); his brother-in-law Robert Wright of May, Texas; his sister Keri Goodgion of Bangs, Texas; his stepsiblings, Damon Williams (Melonie) and Shelly Williams of Atlanta, Georgia.; and his grandchildren, Nathan, Noah Goodgion, Braden, Jackson Smith, Garrett, Zachary Ellis, Jasmine Smith and Angel Knight. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and the special caregivers.
