He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Diaz and Manual Diez. He is survived by : his daughter Bertha Diaz of Austin, Texas; his granddaughter Miah Diaz; his great-niece Ciara Gonzalez; and his sisters, Mary Diaz Delarosa (Victor) of Round Rock, Sammie Diaz and Able Martinez of Early, Texas.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Brown County Veterans Affairs.
