He was predeceased by : his father Phillip Pownell; and his birth mother Brenda Molina (Allen). He is survived by : his wife Margie Pownell of Brownwood, TX; his children, Jacee, Ashlyn Pownell of Midland, TX, Ivonne Hill (Addison) of Brownwood, TX and Enrique Borrego of Snyder, TX; his granddaughters, Vivian Borrego of Snyder, TX and Audriella Hill of Brownwood, TX; his brothers-in-law, Israel Borrego of Brownwood, TX and Michael Borrego (Angie) of Brady, TX; his mother-in-law Alice Borrego of Brady, TX; his niece Elise Borrego of Brady, TX; his brothers, Tony and Brian Molina of Hermleigh, TX; and his mother Mary Pownell of Snyder, TX. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
Southwest Transplant Alliance partnered with University of North Texas Health Science Center Willed Body Program to become the recipients of Steven's donations.
