She was predeceased by: her parents, Stilman Sims and Meryl Sims; her sister Patsy Vaughn; her husband James; and her sons, Mark and Paul.
She is survived by: her brother Eugene Sims; her sons, James (Cheryl) and David (Jamie); and her grandchildren, Paul Jr., Kail, Christopher, Jamie Lynn, Scott and J'Nell. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, plus numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (600 E 26th St, Bryan, TX 77803). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
