He was predeceased by : his parents, Pedro Garcia and Celdedonia Garcia (Hernandez); and his sister Alberta Garcia. He is survived by : his wife Karla Garcia; his children, Ivan, Eden Garcia, Camila Garcia, Yadira Meija and Gabriella Meija; and his grandchildren, Emma and Ezra. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Treviño-Smith Funeral Home (2610 S Texas Ave, Bryan, TX 77802). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Santa Teresa Catholic Church (1212 Lucky St, Bryan, TX 77803).
