It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Faye Gibson Murphy (Bryan, Texas), born in Groesbeck, Texas, who passed away on March 10, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton Gibson and Janette Kilpatrick Gibson; and her husband Sidney L. Murphy. She is survived by: her brother Wayne Gibson (Betty); and her children, Wayne Wilson (Linda), Denise Mazurek (Buddy), Richard Wilson (Tabitha), Karen McQueen (Charles) and Lisa Kemp (Joe). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
