She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymundo Valadez and Arcadia Valadez; and her siblings, Raymond Valadez, Victor Valadez, Robert Valadez, Roy Valadez, Rita Medina, Ralph Valadez and Rosalie Valadez.
She is survived by: her husband Moses Alvarez Jr.; her siblings, Agapito Valadez (Lily) and Rachel Flores (Moses Alvarez Jr.); her children, Melissa Alvarez, Moses Alvarez III (Savannah) and Eric Alvarez (Kathi); and her grandchildren, Nick Alvarez, Mackenzie Broussard, Corben Broussard, Makayla Broussard and Quinn Alvarez. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hillier Funeral Home & Cremations (2301 E 29th St, Bryan, TX 77802). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Bryan City Cemetery (1111 N Texas Ave, Bryan, TX 77803).
