He is survived by : his wife Sandra Tuel of Bryson; his sons, Brent Tuel (Kim) of Bryson and Todd Tuel (Hope) of Aledo; his grandchildren, Tyler Tuel (Kelli), Reese Tuel, Grayson Tuel and Taylor Tuel; and his stepgrandson John Collins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bryson Ex Students Association at Ciera Bank in Bryson, Texas or to the American Cancer Society.
