She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Joseph Salac and Minnie Valka Salac; her husband Marvin Farek Sr; her son Marvin Farek Jr.; and her siblings, Alice Salac, Mildred Salac Rabion, Helen Salac Morris and Eugene Salac.

She is survived by: her children, Cindy Farek of Conroe, TX and Dr. Paul Farek of Corpus Christi; and her sister Rosalie Salac of San Antonio.
