In the sacred silence of farewell, Gwendolyn is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Gwendolyn's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Darrel Lewis and Willa May Lewis of Conroe. She is survived by: her son Kyle Hauk; her sisters, Carol Minze (David) of Katy, TX and Kathy Painchaud (Bruce) of Corpus Christi; her siblings' children, Laura Minze of Dallas, Austin Painchaud of Georgetown, Kim Claussen of The Woodlands and Damon Lane of The Woodlands; and her husband Jimmy Hauk.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home (2800 N Travis Ave, Cameron, TX 76520).
